Metro Sites The HE and FE institutions located within the Glasgow and Paisley conurbations are termed Metro sites. Each Metro site connects to ClydeNET via a local Cisco catalyst 4006 Router. For resilience each site Router has two (1Gbs) backbone interfaces that connect via diversely routed fibre optic circuits to the ClydeNET core sites located at the University of Glasgow (JWN building) and the University of Strathclyde (Curran building) respectively i.e.
