Cricket Ground at Garscube
Garscube
Sports Complex is the University's new outdoor sport and recreation site,
located some 3 miles outside of Glasgow in the scenic Garscube Estate,
West of Scotland Science Park.
A new purpose built cricket ground was constructed
in 1996.
An
artificial pitch has been laid
that mimics natural weather conditions, and is responsive to both seam
and spin bowling. Please note that only rubber studs are allowed
on the artificial wicket and that all matches are currently being played
on the artificial.
There are six grass pitches that
are still being prepared. These have been professionally laid and should
offer excellent playing conditions.
To find directions to the ground, including maps, please see here.
