2004 Season[Previous Season] | [Next Season] Averages, results, captain's report, photos 1, photos 2 and photos 3. Malcolm Mclure (1971-1999) was a young Irishman from Lisburn who died of leukaemia. Malcolm's friends organised a 24 hour sponsored cricket match in his memory in order to raise money for the new Leukaemia Research Centre being developed by the University of Glasgow at Gartnavel Hospital. David Pegg, after reading about the game in his copy of Wisden Cricket Monthly, decided to fly from South Africa to umpire the game.
