The Grass Square

Six grass pitches have been laid at Garscube.

The Square was constructed in a similar manner to those at Clydesdale Cricket Club a year earlier. The ground staff and Gordon Curry participated in extending Clydesdales' square in order to learn the skills necessary to help with the construction of the square at Garscube.

Before during and after the construction of the cricket square.

After 2 months healthy grass was already growing and in September the grass was mown and looking good.

The first game played on the grass square, on Thursday 14 June, 2001.
